MY PROMISE FOR THIS SPACE

I will continue to educate myself learning the best ways to help people and never be a static therapist doing the same thing over and over. 

I will leave my ego out of the room because you are the one doing your own healing, I am just a conduit using education, skill, and intuition to assist in your needs. 

I will manage my own boundaries and allow you space to show up exactly as you need on every visit. 

I will take your feedback and I will grow and do better because of it.

I will listen to you.

If I do not know something I will educate myself before making a judgment call on that topic specifically. 

I will refer you out to a different professional if you are asking for something outside of my scope of practice. 

I will be a safe container for your emotions if they do come up. This is a shame and judgment free massage space. 

I will use your correct pronouns or preferred name. I trust you know you better than I do. 

I will be professional and kind. 

I will lead my practice from my heart always remembering what it is like to be in pain and just want relief. 

I will be honest with you, and we will probably laugh a bit. 

I will tell you at one point or another it's just bodies doing body stuff, and this is a reminder that you are perfect just as you are and there is no reason for embarrassment over not shaving your legs or having back hair. 

I will remind you to breath.

I will do my best to teach you how to not need me by stretches, exercises, and other practices you can do at home. I will do this because I understand economic strain. 

I will welcome you back time and time again. 

I will lead this space by example taking care of my own body because I believe that much in this work. 

I may have some missteps as I learn but I will grow from them each and every time.
